I'm a Kid Foundation was founded to raise awareness and educate the public on hair loss in children, and help the children that are suffering from hair loss. 

I'm a Kid Foundation understands how difficult and life altering hair loss can be. Losing your hair suddenly is a very traumatic experience, especially for a young child, and although a child may not have hair, they are still a child and need to feel “normal” and loved. Hair loss affects every aspect of the child’s life and that’s why we’re here!

How I'm a Kid Foundation Helps the Children...

• Public Awareness - I'm a Kid Foundation is devoted to increasing public awareness of children with hair loss, due to cancer, alopecia, AIDS, or other ailments.

• Educational Awareness Program (EAP) - The Foundation visits schools, groups, and early childhood education centers daycare with an interactive presentation on medical hair loss in children to increase awareness and educate.

• Komfy Kids Purchase Program – Purchase Komfy Kids therapeutic aids directly from I'm a Kid Foundation as a tax-deductible purchase. Use our easy online ordering system to purchase online.

• The TAD Program (Therapeutic Aid Donation Program) - is an award program where I'm a Kid Foundation donates Komfy Kids™ therapeutic aids to award recipients that have been selected through an application process. Please see our Programs page for more information.

• Information & Resources – The Foundation provides information, resources, and referrals  to children with hair loss, their families and loved ones.

• Scholarships - Educational scholarships are available for students suffering from medically-related hair loss.

• Hospital Visits - I’m a Kid Foundation has teamed up with Komfy Kids and visits hospitals throughout the year offering smiles and encouragement to children everywhere.
