I'm a Kid Foundation's Scholarship has been designed to provide students that have medically related hair loss with additional monies for their education. Applications are selected based on financial need, completed application, and required essay.

ELIGIBILITY

You must meet the following requirements in order to qualify to submit an application for a scholarship:

• You must be between the ages of five and eighteen upon application.
• You must be in good standing with your school, community, and law enforcement.
• You must be drug-free.
• Applicant must not have been arrested or incarcerated within the twelve preceding months of application.
• You must currently have alopecia and have had it for at least two years.

PROCESS

After submission of a completed application, should you be selected to receive an I’m a Kid Foundation Scholarship:

• You will receive a letter in the mail stating that you have be selected to receive an I'm a Kid Foundation Scholarship.
• Scholarship must be utilized within twenty-four months of notification.
• Monies will be disbursed directly to the educational institution.
• You must successfully complete the program in which the monies are used for.
• You must repay all monies back to I'm a Kid Foundation should you not successfully complete the program, or should you violate the rules of the scholarship.
• Recipient must remain drug-free.
• Recipient must remain in good standing with their school, community, and law enforcement.
• Recipient must maintain a 2.8 GPA (when applicable).
